i7 4Ghz, 32gb ram, gtx 980ti x2, win 10 pro, ilustrator 27.9 64bit

it takes forever to do anything and I'm talking about simple tasks, I click......... nothing happens, then (not responding) and a few dozen seconds later there is a reaction !!!!

I have enough disk space from here to the moon, all the updates, I have enough, I use it for work, but at this point I don't earn money for subscriptions.

I wanted to give up this crap but you want money from me for early resignation!! I pay for software that practically makes it impossible for me to work, either you fix the problem or I demand compensation for selling a non-working product!!!

How old is your computer system? The NVidia GTX 980ti was released in 2015. It was a great graphics board when it was first released, but it is somewhat obsolete compared to current generations of graphics boards. Several generations of Intel CPUs have been released since 2015.

Computers that are upwards of 8 to 10 years old can still be useful for a lot of tasks. But they lose their edge at doing complex, demanding work. They're going to bog down when trying to do things that are CPU-intensive and/or GPU-intensive. Graphics applications, such as Adobe Illustrator, aren't developed with older computer systems in mind. Performance requirements tick upward with each new version. Over several years those increases add up to a big difference. The newest version of Illustrator is pretty demanding, especially when using any of the 3D-based features.

It's common for computer users to retire and replace aging PCs that were still operational simply because they no longer had the "muscle" to get work done efficiently. It's possible to keep a PC running acceptably well for a good while by keeping hardware drivers updated and doing routine system maintenance. You might want to check if any updates are available for your graphics board(s).

Another option is rolling back to a previous point-release or whole version of Illustrator.

Adobe InDesign is better suited for multi-page document creation. Linking rather than embedding images can save a little performance overhead.

When was the last time you rebooted the system?

Exactly what are you doing?

Is that RAM available or are other apps running? Browsers eat RAM faster than you can notice.

What kind of driver do you have installed for your graphic card? Illustrator does not like gaming drivers.

today, RAM is 70 percent free, I don't remember what drivers

although I don't think it would have an impact, it worked fine for the first week, I updated Illustrator and it is as it is. What am I doing? For 2 days I have been trying to add 60 graphics to the document (500-900Kb each)

From what I read, this is a NOTORIOUS problem with Illustrator. If I had been informed before the sale that there were hundreds of reasons why it would not work properly, I would NEVER have bought it.

your image is 500 K, then this is the compressed size. Illustrator uses the image uncompressed, which is much larger. Multiply that by 60 and you get a huge amount of data for Illustrator to handle. And then 32 GB of RAM isn't a lot anymore.

If you don't know about your cideo driver, then please check that. Install the Studio version of the driver.

But also: You might be using the wrong application. When you want to produce a layout, use InDesign.
