Illustrator Waffle Effect

Hello,

I am creating a business card. I would like to put the effect of the waffled paper on my project. I have found how to put the effect, but it changes the base color of my background. I have a navy blue color but it turns into a light blue/grey when I put the embossed paper effect. How can I keep my original color?
Thanks in advance! 🙂

You could try if keeping a lyer below it with the original color and apply a transparency blend mode like Overlay to the filered layer does what you want.

Hello, here is my project. It is basically with a navy blue background. I would like to put an embossed paper effect but here is what happens when I apply the effect -> it changes color and I can't keep my navy blue.

Thanks in advance 🙂
