Illustrator wants access to my Calendar?

I was just wondering whether anyone else received the same prompt. Happened to me while I was saving an .ai file to a network server.

"Adobe Ilustrator CC 2018 wants access to your Calendar" "Disallow" "Allow"

Can someone explain to me what happened? Thanks in advance!

This is due to some changes from Apple side in Mojave. Every app that needs access to the some folders in ~users/library will throws this. Even if only prefs ar changed. Nothing Adobe can do about at the moment. just dismiss and ignore. No action is really attempted by Ai or any other CC app in this case.

I experience the same issue for After Effects, "Adobe After Effects CC 2018.app would like to access your calendar". Then a second message asks for my contacts.

Running MacOS Mojave.

This is Mojave?

Mojave has plenty of known issues with Adobe products, and it will be months before things are going normally, so it's always worth mentioning when you are on the "bleeding edge" with a new system.

What type of data did you have on your page?

A few images and text, that's all. Nothing that I would see as Calendar-related. Anyway, I opted for Disallow, and everything kept working fine. I am starting to suspect that this has more to do with the new Mojave update for mac os
