Illustrator will start but is completely unresponsive.

I’m on a MacBook 2024, OS: Tahoe 26.3.2. Using Illustrator 2026 v30.4. It can’t even open the file. And if it ever does it’s extremely slow to do anything. For example a file may open and I can’t even pan around the image before the app stops responding.

    Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear Illustrator has become unusable on your system. Could you please try rebooting your Mac and then, before launching any other applications, open Illustrator first and test the issue again? Also, please manually reset Illustrator preferences by following the steps shown in this video and let us know if it helps:
