Question

Illustrator window falls behind other open program windows so you can barely see it

Everytime I have made a post or read about Adobe products glitching out, the immediate question by Adobe is "WeLL WuT CoMpUtEr & OS ArE U uSiNg?" (like that should matter for the products to work correctly).

Well now, here I am with a BRAND NEW computer, Mac Studio Display and Mac Mini with M4 Pro chip and 20-core CPU bought last week, and I am still seeing the same stuff happening that I did on my 2017 iMac. When I am clicking on my Illustrator window to work on it and/or move it, it falls behind my Chrome window, or other program windows, so I can't see anything unless my those windows are not covering the screen entirely.

Screen recording attached.

This makes me nervous for the other products, especially After Effects. Is that still going to crash my computer, even if it's brand new? Does anyone else have experience with this?

Hello @kaitlint82815752,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Could you try switching to the Default Workspace (if not done already) to see if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey.. I'm going to assume default is "Essentials?" I just tried that out and it seems to be working how it is supposed to. But, that's not my preferred workspace. Is there any fix for this?

Hello @kaitlint82815752,

Thanks for confirming. Could you try re-creating your workspace to see if it continues to work?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
