Illustrator won't show changes

When I use Drop Shadows, right on the Illustrator, it won't shows changes. But when I export it, every things is right.

    Try View > Preview on CPU

    What you show in your screendumps is that the horrible .ai file exports as a nice image.

    I suppose you mean the other way around.

    How did you export your file?

    Well, the first capture shows double lines on the text, the back ones appear jagged and darker, while your second snap, shows a lighter shadow better delineated.

    Please check Effects>Document Raster Effects settings and see the resolution being used. I think it's quite low.

    Then what you mean with "won't show changes"? If you increase the settings of the Drop Shadow, the change is not displayed? Which numerical version of Ai are you using? (About Illustrator) and which moedl of video card? Is the driver up to date?
