Illustrator wont open

I have just downloaded a trial copy of illustrator onto a box fresh won10 laptop and it won't open.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but no joy, just a spinning wheel saying initialising plug-ins, been running for 5 mins now?

Any suggestions

Hi Greg,

I recommend that you use Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to uninstall the software in depth. In addition, I also attach a thread very similar to yours: illustrator won't open
