Illustrator wont open on my Windows PC past version 30.6

Is anyone else having an issue with Illustrator update’s past 30.6? 

 

I seem to be unable to use / open any of the updates past this version on my Windows PC. I can click on Illustrator and it goes to open, then it doesn't and instead brings up an error popup to submit to Adobe. 

The popup doesn't say what type of error just happened and I cant find anything to help with this online. I was hoping with more updates it would work itself out or that I perhaps had to wait for a Windows update. 

I have just updated to the latest version of illustrator and made sure my PC is up to date as well but I still cant open Illustrator, now have to un-install and re-install version 30.6 so I can use it. I'm honestly not sure what to do here.

 

Any ideas / suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Stating your PC is up to date doesn’t provide enough info. What exact version?

    For example:

    Edition: Windows 11 Pro

    Version: 26H2

    OS build: 26300.9550

    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080

    I can open Illustrator 30.8.2

    Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. 

    Since you're on Windows and Illustrator fails during launch, please first try repairing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. Ref: Illustrator won't launch after Windows update | Illustrator

    If the issue persists, please test the issue in safe mode to isolate any third-party interferences with Illustrator. Ref: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-your-pc-in-safe-mode-in-windows-92c27cff-db89-8644-1ce4-b3e5e56fe234

    Also, when the Adobe crash-report dialog appears, please submit the crash report with your email address and let us know the email used via DM so we can investigate further. Ref: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/crash-next-steps.html?linkId=100000357094820

    Please also share your exact Windows version and the latest Illustrator version/build that fails to launch.
