Image trace no longer has the default option?  Why has this disappeared?

    In the old version there was a box to check for "ignore white". Is there a way to do that in this version?

    Yes, the option says 'Ignore Colour' and allows any colour to be selected.

    Make sure that the "Method" is set to "Abutting" otherwise ignore color won't work.

    The default is now Auto Detect. As mentioned in the new features summary it is part of the improved image trace experience:

      It's really not doing what it used to do. the 6 preset tracings are nothing like the original image. Can I uninstall this version and go back to a previous version, do you know? Thanks for your time

      Yes, you can do that via the Creative Cloud app. You do not need to uninstall when you want to downgrade a major version: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html
