The problem we are experiencing is related to errors in the "image tracing" process of PNG images in Adobe Illustrator. Specifically, we are encountering issues such as white artifacts and incomplete tracing of PNG images. This problem occurs in the 2023 version that I am using, while it does not occur in the 2022 version used by another user.
Details:
1. Problematic Format: PNG
- The issue is observed with PNG format images, while no errors occur with other formats such as JPEG, GIF, etc.
- When PNG images are subjected to the "image tracing" process, white artifacts appear in some areas.
- Errors are more prominent in images with complex patterns and edges.
2. Error Condition: Image Tracing
- The problem occurs during the "image tracing" process, also known as Image Trace.
- The "image tracing" process is used to convert an image into a vector graphic and is commonly used for logos, icons, and similar graphics.
- When the problematic image is subjected to the "image tracing" process, white artifacts appear in certain areas and the image is not traced accurately.
- This error prevents images from being converted accurately and disrupts the workflow.
3. Versions Used: 2022 and 2023
- The issue produces different results in different versions of Adobe Illustrator.
- My friend reports no errors in images when using the 2022 version.
- However, I have noticed errors in the same images when using the 2023 version.
- This suggests that the issue may be related to the application version.
I need your help , Thank You
