Image Tracing unbelievably slow after update.

Question

Hello!Current version: 27.7 (64 bit)My workflow involves using the Image Trace almost all of the time. Before, the Image Trace feature would just take 1-2 seconds to execute but after the update, it is evident that the feature is taking more significant time to execute this feature. Sometimes 3-4 seconds. I am just tracing basic shapes with only two colors (black and white) This is not just a feeling since I use the feature like 95% of the time. I create icons. What could be the problem or is it a bug?

There is an update to 27.8 that works for me, but not for everyone.

If it does not work you can go back to a previous version like 27.5 or earlier

In the CC app go to Apps > All Apps

Next to Illustrator you will see 3 dots

Click and select Other Versions

You can Uninstall Illustrator and install the previous version or leave the current Illustrator installed and install an additional previous version.
