Question

Images collected into one clipping mask

Hi, for some reason, after I have closed a page of six separate images down and then reopen that same page all of the images have collected together and are hidden within one clipping mask. This is a lot of work to try to restore the page to six separate images as when I try to do so every line and fill is separated. Does ny have any solutions?

Thanks

HI Betreff, Ton and Monika, well, sadly this was about two months or more ago, so I can not remeber the exact method of saving the images. However I usually save  as Command sS not Save As. We are a company and so it is possible that someone else opened the page to create a PDF and not included Illustrator editing capabilities. Is there anyway back from this? The only thing I can think of is to go back through Time Machine and File storage and backup

Yes, a backup would probably help in this case.

And what Monika said.

Did you save as .ai or as .pdf? It looks like you have opened a pdf that was saved without Illustrator editing capabilities, or the file got corrupted and you are stuck with the pdf part.

This sounds like you have saved a PDF (without "Illustrator editing function")

The only other alternative is that your file got corrupted.

Exactly what did you save exactly where using exactly which options?
