Images inverting

Hi guys,

 

I've created my designs incorporating some PNG images and saved my file as an illustrator file type.

When I go back to open it the PNG images have all inverted colour. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

 

Any help is much appreciated

We are sorry for the trouble. We are able to reproduce the issue at our end. We have already logged a bug with the product team, and they are currently investigating the issue. I would request you try the suggestions shared by Anshul in this community post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/pngs-linked-in-show-up-in-purple-white-with-yellow-background/m-p/12981956#M323946) as suggested by Ton and share your observations.

Could you please upload a screen shot showing exactly what is happening? When you say that you are saving as an "illustrator file type" are you referring to .ai (the native format) or something else? What version of Illustrator and what operating system are you on? Please provide as many details as possible about the workflow that produced the problem.
