How do I import a font to illustrator IPad? I do not see a way to add my own fonts. This has to be an option...or is Adobe going to exclude this ability?

If you are signed into your Creative Cloud account and any Adobe applications installed on the iPad are properly signed in you should see any fonts synced via Adobe Fonts available in the fonts menu. On the other hand you can't install font files directly into the iPad OS via local storage or an attached disc. When you go to settings and check the fonts category it will tell you to get fonts from the App Store. In my opinion that really really stinks. Typically the "fonts" available in the App Store are whole package deals, as more apps to install. I'm not doing that. The fonts setup in the iPad needs to work the same way it does on a Mac running OSX or a Windows PC.

At least with Adobe fonts there is a way to add individual font files or type families into the iPad OS. But the iPad has to be connected online.
