Imported Bitmap won´t show in TIFF or JPG

Hello there,

since the last Illustrator Update I have the following problem:

I always work with an imported BITMAP (black and white drawing...) which I put over colored forms in Illustrator, allways worked fine...

Now it still looks fine in illustrator, but when I export it in JPG or TIFF I have either a black square instead of drawing or it is invisible...

If I do the same on the old mac with old illustrator it still works fine,

can anybody help?

Seems to work fine in the latest version 22.0.1

How do you save your bitmaps?

as format photoshop? I tried as BMP but was the same...

psd and as tiff with white as transparent works for me.

Do you just place them on top of artwork or uses them as a mask?
