Question

Imported illustrator file layers aren't vectors, seem to be raster images?

Hello,

I'm a new user of Adobe Illustrator but have been using Adobe Draw on my iPad for a while. I tried importing the Draw file into Illustrator to work on it there but all of the layers which were previously vectors, and didn't pixelise when I zoomed in, are now raster images, and become very pixelated if I zoom in, making it impossible to work on.

Does anyone know how to solve this? And sorry if this is a very obvious or easy to solve issue, as I said I'm new to the program

Thanks for the help in advance

Try holding down the Opt(Alt) key when dragging the object into AI.

    Which version of Illustrator?

Please tell us step by step what happened. As far as I understand the file first was a vector graphic, but then got rasterized?

What exactly did you do, in which versions of Illustrator did you edit it?

How exactly did you send the file around?
