Question

Importing a shared library

I've received invitation from a customer to two of their libraries that I need to use for this task. I can see them in "my libraries" in the Creative Cloud. How do I get them into my programs on my desktop? They are for Illustrator and InDesign. It should be simple and straightforward...?

Thanks!

Hi Marie,

After you have accepted the invitation, those libraries that are shared with you, should be synced to your Libraries in CCLibraries Panel in all Point Products. Can you see them there?

Sorry for the late reply, Mariia...

It started to work, but my client had to redo the process and so I'm here again. I can see the libraries that they've shared with me - I just doesn't sync down to my programs. I.e. when I open ID or AI, the're not available.

Just to make sure we are on the same page - you can see them in Creative Cloud Application in Your Libraries tab, but not in other applications?
Can you check if your Syncing is working?

Thanks, I've tried something like this but in Finder (Mac) I go to Creative Cloud and can't get any further. I can see "Cloud document" but not get any further.

I see the libraries in the Creative Cloud, but I don't know how to download them into a cclibs/cclibc-file. Is that what I should do? Or should the customer share them with my in a different way?

I can't imagine it's different on a Mac but unfortunately not having one I can't check.
