Importing artwork (vector objects) from Illustrator Draw into Illustrator CS5?

Good Morning,

I would like to import/place a file with vectors objects generated in my iPad with Illustrator Draw into my Windows Illustrator CS5. Is this possible at all?

I followed instructions from the Adobe website to move the file into the Cloud, generated a link to share it, etc. etc. This process allows to share the file only as JPEG or PNG, not as vector objects.

Somewhere I read i should use the "Place" option (File -> Place) in Illustrator CS5. I tried it but did not work because the button to click on "Link" is greyed, only "Template" is available for clicking.
