In the Layers Panel, how do I hide all the layers but one?

In the Layers Panel, I assume there's an easy way to hide all the layers but one.

I use a Mac.

It seems like I should be able to hold down a keyboard key while clicking on the layer I want to remain visible, but I've tried all the logical keys and none work.

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks @Doug A Roberts

I had tried Alt-Click and it wasn't working. Now that I know that's the correct method, I understand why it wasn't working.

It's because I was clicking a layer that was nested within another layer, and it that case Alt-Clicking on the eye won't work because visibility is controlled by the top layer.

Thanks for helping me understand how this works.
