Incomplete outline after using blend tool (Replace Spine)

I attempted to make outlines using the blend tool "Specified Steps" and "Replace Spine" over the Headphones Path. However, the resulting outline is incomplete as shown below. How do I address this?

The spine needs to be an open path. Yours looks like it's closed.
