Invalid Export Location

When I try to export a selection on an artboard, it opens the "Export for Screens" window as it should. I select the asset, choose my Desktop or folder and click "Export Asset" and I get "Invalid Export Location". Why is this happening?

Any other ideas here? I really need to export this selection on my artboard and can't at the moment.

FIXED. Had to uninstall and re-install. /shrug

Are you on a network? I’ve seen this happen sometimes where the file is not allowed to be written to the desktop because of a network configuration. Possible solution: create a folder on the desktop, then save your file inside that folder. Another possible solution: just save somewhere else besides the desktop

Hi Michael. I've tried many locations and none work. This used to work on 2017, but since the upgrade it has not. At least that's what I think it is.
