iPad adobe Illustrator stalling

Recently my AI started stalling . Anytime I swiitch to another app - like photos or safari , when I come back to AI it has completely stalled out and won't do anything unless I close the entire app and reopen it.  Very frustrating since I multitask often while using AI. My iPad is only a year old and I've had AI since I got it and this is a new behavior.  My ipad is updated, my Ai is updated, I'm only using 12% of my adobe cloud space. I've rebooted the app and my ipad more times than I can count and it's still happening constantly. Any thoughts?

Hello @Vicki35314831831m,

Would you mind confirming if Illustrator behaves this way when you open a specific application after you have backed out of Illustrator or does it happen with all apps? Also, is there a time period when you have backed out of Illustrator after which you encounter this behavior? Additionally, kindly confirm the iPad model and share a screen recording of your exact workflow, so I can check it with the team.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have an IPad Pro . It doesn't appear to matter which app triggers the stall. Recently I was in my photo app before it stalled , separately I was in Safari. The stall is immediate. That is to say as soon as I leave safari to return to AI, it is locked tight. Sometimes I can use my pencil to access the tools but they wont actually function. I can roam up and down the layers but not access anything in them .

Thanks for sharing the details, @Vicki35314831831m,

While I check this with the team, would you mind checking if this happens when working on new files as well? Also, please confirm the exact iPad model / iPadOS version (Settings>General>About) and the version of Illustrator installed.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
