ipad and laptop on one subscription

hello

I have a subscription through the apple store and use illistrator on my ipad. i wish to us it on my laptop as well but it wants to charge me again. i followed all the ways their website say to activate the laptop but i cant do it and it says because its payed throuh the apple store.

Is there a way to fix this?

They are completely different programs. Having Illustrator for iPad doesn't automatically entitle you to the full desktop version. It only works the other way around - when you have a full CC desktop subscription you can use the other tools for free on mobile devices.
