Is it possible to turn a swatch into a stroke?

I've recently made a seamless pattern, which is then turned into a swatch. The swatch lies in the 'fill' box, rather than the 'stroke' box. I was wondering if it possible to turn this swatch fill pattern into strokes?

Hi there,

You can apply the Swatch you created to the Stroke and yes, as Myra mentioned, you may need to increase the Stroke weight to see it. Here's an example:

You should be able to click the 2-sided arrow in the upper right corner for Swap Fill and Stroke (Shift X). You may need to increase the stroke weight for it to show up. Is that what you mean?
