Is it possible to use my color group to recolor default shapes ?

I have many shapes to color with different fill for every single piece ( low poly ) and I already have a color group to use and I was wondering : is it possible in AI CC 2017 recolor the default shape white fill black stroke convert them in my color palette or before to do that do I have to color one by one the shapes anyway ? Being this already a time consuming process this could save a lot of time.
