Is there an equivalent to "pin file" that is used frequently?

I have a file with a bunch of icons I've created and the file doesn't always appear in the recent list of items. Is there a way to make it always handy?

Or is there a better way to save those icons that are frequently used?

You could record a simple action to open specific files (see Actions palette).

You could also set up custom symbol libraries and make them persistent.

In recent versions of Illustrator you could also use libraries (see Window > Libraries).

on Windows you can right click on the Illustrator Button in the Task Bar. You'll get a menu-like list of recently open files, next to each of them there's pin button.

THANK YOU !!!!! - I always used that as quick way to see recently used, but sometimes my file moved off the list and I didn't realize I could just pin it there. This is the most helpful response I think I have ever received in any forum ever.
