Is there something I can do about my Illustrator Crashing

Question

I used to have the rectangle app on my Macbook Air. Im not sure if that has anything to do with why it is crashing now given that I have since deleted it but the app was known to have interactions with illustrator. However, Illustrator now is super buggy on my macbook. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times however it still won't open at all.

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm really sorry Illustrator crashed for you. I wanted to check if the issue continues after trying the expert's suggestion above. If yes, please also try launching your Mac in Safe Mode and then opening Illustrator again. This will help us see if anything running in the background is causing the crash.
