Question

Is this an artefact or a functional element?

Can someone explain to me whether it is possible to intervene on the element highlighted in the screenshots as it interferes with the precise positioning of the object.
When I bring the object closer to the target point the snap to point feature attracts the point outside the perimeter line.

I have numbered the images for ease of reference

If it helps I can share the file if you remind me how to do it.

Is everything snapping to pixels? And then you are trying to also snap to the objects?

I think I did not understand the question, but I will try to answer it.

Regarding the ‘Snap to’ options, I have only activated ‘Snap to point’.

I enclose two more pictures showing in detail what I see when I select the individual object. Tile 7, the one with the yellow background, when selected, the selection border leaves no gaps. This does not happen with tile 13 (the one with the green background) when it is selected. See screenshot.

Yes, join the 3 rows of tiles by eliminating the gaps between them.

Would have been better to embed the screenshots in your post.

The images in preview mode are two different images. In one I have selected tile 7 which is not affected by the problem. The other is of tile 13 which has the problem.

Can you show one of the groups in Preview mode with the appearance and layers panels visible?

Looks like tile 13 has been rotated slightly, thus the discrepancy between the object edges and bounding box.
