Isolation Mode Issue Regarding Symbols

Hi Everyone,

 

Any idea what would cause changes in symbol size in and out of isolation mode? Program Error? When entering isolation mode by double-clicking on a symbol instance, the symbol gets much smaller. When exiting isolation mode, the symbol gets huge. Manually scaling down is necessary. The document viewing percentage doesn't change.

When you enter the symbol editing mode you always edit the original (untransformed) symbol definition. When you quit the symbol editing mode you get the (transformed) symbol instance again.

 

If you want to delete the transformation you can select a symbol instance and use the Reset Transformation command in the flyout menu of the Symbols palette.

Hi Kurt,

Thanks much for your reply! I hear you - the scaling seems quite extreme, though, and nothing I've experienced with the same preset. Here is an image.... The Reset Transformation idea, though, is good - thank you!
