Issue with Device Activation Limit and Duplicate Device Names in Adobe Illustrator

Hi,

I’m encountering a persistent issue with Adobe Illustrator on my MacBook running macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 and Illustrator version 29.2.1.

When I launch Illustrator, I receive an error message stating that I’ve reached the activation limit for devices. However, when I check the list of activated devices in my Adobe account, I only see my MacBook listed, but it appears duplicated 11 times.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Confirmed that I have only one device activated.
  2. Restarted my MacBook.
  3. Updated Illustrator to the latest version.
  4. Signed out and signed back into Adobe Creative Cloud.

Despite these steps, the problem persists. This seems like a bug, but I wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this issue or knows how to resolve it.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Hello @11470495 bertrandm16013657,

Would you mind signing out of all the duplicate devices using the prompt on the error message or from the account page (https://adobe.ly/3CiJEyJ) and then relaunching Illustrator to see if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi,
I updated my OS to Sonoma 14.7.2.
First I signed out from the account page, but it didn't solve the problem.

Then I signed out of all the duplicate devices using the prompt on the error message, and it works!
Thank you
