Issue with editing text of my eps file

Hi

 

I have exported an eps file which is an image with text. I would like to edit the text by adding a bar over the text. I tried Glyphs but for example the letter q with a bar over the letter. But using glyphs i am unable to do. For example as you can see u with a subscript r .So I need to add a bar above each letter u and r. How can it be done. Please help.

AI has no way of automatically producing these text decorations. That's what they are: Custom rendered elements not persistent elements of the source font utterly dependent on a program making provision to generate and display them. Ergo you have to draw them manually.
