Issue with trying to export file to PNG.

Yesterday, when I was exporting a project to PNG, the folder didn't contain any artwork. The files export (or appear to be), but the PNG file disappears into the ether. I've had to reroute my designing through copy-pasting objects in PS, but this is tedious and not a good fit for my workflow.

Does anyone have any ideas?
I am running Adobe Illustrator 2021 on Mac OS Big Sur, version 11.2.3.

How are you viewing the contents of this folder? I'm assuming through Explorer or Finder. Could you have some kind of filter turned on that is only displaying certain kinds of files? Perhaps try viewing this folder through another program like Bridge which comes free with the Adobe Creative Cloud.

This worked!

I am not sure how the files disappeared, but they did, and I can view them within Bridge. Rebooted today and things went back to normal.

Temporary hiccup on my part, thanks for your help Michael!

Hey that's great. Thank you. The good old "Turn computer off. Turn computer on." solution 😉
