Issues with custom artbaords

I am currently having issues with creating custom artboards.

Whenever I hover over my grouped logo to create an artbaord around it, it doesn't seem to work.

But if I create the artboard somewhere else, it lets me. Any adivce?

You need to click on your artwork, not just hover. In which way does "not work"? Not at all? Wrong size?

Can we see a screenshot?

When I click on the artwork it does not create the artboard around it.

When you create a new file and then draw something in it. And then click on the drawing with the artboard tool. Does it work? And if not, please show a screenshot.
