issues with identical HEX colours not printing the same

This is a bit of a funny probably obvious question but its made me question everything Ive ever printed now... So I sent this document to print, now they are needing reprinting, and costing nearly £200. 😞

Ive attached screenshots of the two colour codes, the file was sent as a RGB pdf document (my bad), the only thing is one of the colours is saved as a swatch and one isnt, despite them both being the exact same HEX code, in the same document.
What has caused them to differ so drastically in shades when printing, I understand I should have initially set the file up as a CMYK document, and sent it as such, but how can two identical hex codes change numbers when converted to print?

When converted to RGB from CMYK the hex codes both change from "b20933" into two seperate codes: "b21736" and "b20933"

I cannot see your screenshots, but I have some remarks:

Hexcodes are RGB colors and RGB colors can be converted to many different CMYK combinations depending on the profiles for RGB as well as CMYK. If any of the profiles are different or missing, the result will be different.

Don't use HEX or RGB colors for printing unless you have your color management setup correctly.
