I am trying to export multiple artboards for screen to jpg or png. Things that I have some quality but jpg results are veeeery weird. Like distorted pixels or something. Export Worked totally fine. Not sure what happened. Another classic adobe frustration that kills my productive day.

Tried in latest Ai 2025 + 2026. Thanks.

This is ok (A4 format, cmyk)

    @Pedro369032337muj have a look at this bug report and try to change the anti-aliasing method from Type to Art Optimized.

    Hello @Pedro369032337muj

    That does seem troubling. I hope Ton and Creative Explorer’s suggestions helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly share a sample AI and an exported JPG/PNG file along with screenshots of the export settings used so we can better assist you.

    Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Here is the file with artboard I am having issue with. Screen is in Czech, but you get an idea. Antialiasing is for text (hint). Thanks.

    Good to hear that helped. Type Optimized is unfortunately the default for many image export settings, Art Optimized gives much better results for most artwork.

    @Pedro369032337muj Are the images rotated?

    No, Images aren’t rotated. Even if yes, never had this issue before.

    @Pedro369032337muj Are you saying that this was fine the other day, and suddenly, it’s giving you this weird look…. have you tried clearing Illustrator’s preferences and restart Illustrator.

    Well it’s been a while when I was using Ill for artboard export. Ugh, I don’t want to clear illustrator preferences, I don’t want to spend another hours to set everything I need.
