Jagged edges on the inside of circles when drawing with paintbrush tool

Hi! I'm using the paintbrush tool to draw circles in Illustrator. I'm having a problem with the edges on the inside of the circles being jagged and not smooth like on the outside of the circles. Is there a way I can solve this? Thanks!
