Join a line to a square

Hello. I'd like to join this line to the cornes of two sqaures. Everything I've tried has not worked. Is it possible? Thank you! Louis

No unfortunately not, only open anchor points can be joined. But you can align/snap to them and group the line/square.

You can align the anchor points, but only 2 anchor points can be connected, you cannot join 3.
