Jumpy movements in Illustrator

Moving elements and trying to control the bezier tool is almost impossible.
I use a mouse not pen.

I have done the following:
Snap to grid - off

Snap to point - off.

Have shut down and restarted (I read that might help!)
I keep getting a dialogue box saying illustrator found an issue with Wacom driver? 

Any ideas appreciated.
