Sorry to hear you're facing trouble opening your .ai file on another computer. Could you please confirm which version of Illustrator and operating systems you're using on both machines? Also, let me know if this happens only with this particular file or with others too. Try saving the file again with the 'Create PDF Compatible File' option checked and then open it on the other system to see if that helps.
