Question

Keyboard does not open in illustrator for iPad

Yellow Legends, I have just downloaded the latest version of illustrator for iPad. I have just started to try using text. I click on the text icon and the text box opens. I click on the keyboard icon but the keyboard does not open. Any help would be appreciated. A further twist - the keyboard function works on my desktop.

Would you mind restarting your device and installing the latest iPadOS updates (https://adobe.ly/4jPbR19) to check if it helps?

If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the OS/Illustrator version, your iPad model, and a small screen recording of the problem so I can better assist you.

Hi Anubhav,

I briefly had the keyboard working then a blue spot appeared everywhere I touched on the artwork and no functions at all now respond. Any advice would help. Very frustrating!
