Keyboard Shortcut & Layer Manipulation

I usually use layer panel to move the layer front & back in the grphic window, rather than using keyboard shortcuts because it is more clear about the work I do.

 

But if you Cut the red color "S" and Paste in the Front it will move the "S" out of the group. In this case Keyboard Shortcut & Layer Manipulation is not same. I wish to know whether it will affect the forth coming work. Video is attached

If you want to paste infront into a group, you will have to select the item inside the group that should be directly below the path you paste.
