Lag while drawing with smart pen

I can't draw lines/circles in Illustrator, they just break (vid:) I use a compatible smart pen with drawing pad Gaomon 156 PRO (on the website it says it would be compatible with Illustrator). In all other softwares like Photoshop or Paint I don't have the problem. With the mouse I can draw without problems. I have 16 GB of RAM and need the software quickly because I have to design a school project there.

16 GB of RAM is maybe not enough, it's at the low end of the recommendation.

Never heard of the tablet company, there haven't been questions about it on the forum.

I just noticed that my Pc does have 32 GB RAM, is it still too little? my PC specs:
4x RAM: CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 (Corsair: 8GB)
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: RTX 2080 super (8GB)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B550 AORUS PRO
