Lastest Update of Illustrator keeps hanging when I try to save

I've just updated Illustrator to the lastest version 27.0.1 and now the app hangs/stalls when trying to save a file. Running macOS Monterey 12.6.1 on M1 Max. Urgent solution needed!

Are you sure it is 27.01? The most recent is 27.1

If your update does not work, you can try tp go back to older versions in the CC app.
