latest update bug????

After the latest Illustrator update, I know have text within an illustration that will not select no matter what I do. And no its not locked!

Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, if Illustrator behaves this way with specific files, a public link to a sample file after uploading it to Dropbox/Google Drive/etc., and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/3EFzsBC), so I can better assist you with this?
