Layers are not showing Images if I open in different Machine

Hi All,

I have created an ai file in Illustraor and saved it with some layers , the layers properly showed me the images but when I close it and open the ai file again I am not finding the Images on layers.

I tried to see the same ai file in Adobe Acrobat  reader and I can see the Layers present with images.

Is something wrong with saving ai file ? do I need to set any preferences to save the layers properly?

Note when I tried to open the file in Illustartor its give me warning "Some CC Library Linked assets cannot be found .Click replace to relink assets using the links panel. This warning is popping up all the time when I open the file .Seems the links are breaking and layers are not showing the images.

Looking for Your valuable suggestions

That error means you have placed images in Illustreator from a CC Library and those images are not available.

Illustrator cannot show you a preview of the linked graphic so your layers show blank.

As @Monika Gause said - opening in Acrobat would show the PDF preview.

The moment you reopen in AI the links are needed in order to render and edit the file. Without them it's blank.

When opening the file in Acrobat you are opening an embedded PDF file, in which images are always embedded.

From where did you link the images?
