Question

Left click won't change tools in Illustrator 29.3, only right click works

Hi - 

 

Please let me know if I'm losing what's left of my mind.

 

After updating Illustrator today, I'm finding only Right Click works to change tools in the Tool Palatte. For example, I could swear that to simply change the Type tool to Type On A Path tool, or rectangle to elipse, I'd usually click on the upper left hand corner of my mouse. Now, only right click will work.

 

Am I imagining things or did Adobe change things on this update?

Currently have no mouse connected to the notebook. 

But for me it works like that:

Left-click a little longer: menu with subtools pops up

Alt-click (I'm on a Mac): switches through the tools with each click

2-finger click: menu with subtools pops up immediately

I'll try your method and see what happens.
