Library Graphics aren't accurate. When placing a logo 'as a copy' anchor points are out of place

(specs at bottom)

The vector graphics I add to one particular CC Library change over time... in case it's not obvious the 'B' should not have the jagged connections between the baseline and the right hand vertical.

Various copies and versions of this brand logo come out wrong / irregular when placed as a copy. These vectors did display correctly at one point. When I notice it's gone wrong I go back to the orriginal logo file and add it to the library again... it works for a while then eventually the same things happen. This does not occur when the same graphic is 'placed' or dragged from the library wondow to the artboard.

Thanks in advance

Correct answer Ton Frederiks

Did you check the anchor points for the B at the problem area?

Is the shape closed, are there anchor points on top of each other?

Can you share the file, or at least the part that is causing trouble?

It is very hard to talk about things we can't see.

Is snap to point turned on in the target file? Maybe the setting moves the points when you place the logo.

The shape is closed but it does look like, (if displaying correctly) there would be anchor points on top of eachother on those prolem areas. Why would this cause them to move? Thanks

Try to recreate that area with as few anchor points as possible and see if the problem returns.

Does it also occur when double clicked in the library to open the logo?

No - when I double click the logo is correct. Should have also mentioned - the nature of the inconsistency chnages sometimes, but usually in the same area. See attached images

Then it could be a preview issue. Cmd E (Ctrl E) to switch between GPU and CPU Preview?
