Library name deletes while typing

I have noticed that when I add a new graphic to a library, then double click it's name (defaulted to artboard name), that if I start typing immediately, the entire first few characters get selected then my continued typing overwrites them.

For example, if the name I want to enter is Joes Hardware, I start typing Joes, that will get selected a couple seconds later so that if I jeep typing as normal, all that is left is Hardware. I notice if I wait a few seconds to start typing after the double click,this does not happen.
