Line weight changes when outline stroked

Hi,

I'm trying to convert a line art icon into SVG. Before I do 'outline stroke' the line weight is consistent, but as soon as I do that the line weight changes - some part gets thicker or thinner. Is there any way that I can keep the line weight consistent with the outline stroked?

Try to increase the number of decimal settings for SVG export (1 does not work).

Thanks for your reply, this is working!! It was actually 2, so I increased it to 3 and then it worked. Thank you so much!

This happens after saving the SVG?

Please show us the Appaerance panel for the selected object with live stroke

Hi Monika,

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, this happens after saving the SVG. The moment I do 'Outline Stroke' it looks fine. If I save it and reopen the file again, this happens. Attached is a screenshot of the Appearance panel.

The expanded strokes simply seem to inherit your default stroke. Check the relevant palettes for stroke/ brushes and appearance and remove the strokes or apply a simple uniform one.

Hi Mylenium,

Thank you so much for your reply! Looks like it's a simple uniform one already. I also tried to remove the strokes, but the line disappears. Is there any other way that we can try?
