Linear gradient fill has an error when copied to Animate

When a color block with a linear gradient is mirrored in Illustrator and then copied and pasted into Animate, the direction of the linear gradient of the color block is reversed. The first image is in Illustrator, where the top-right and bottom-left parts are obtained by mirroring the top-left part. The second image shows the result after they are copied into Animate. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Hi @z_7683,

Thanks for sharing the details and visuals. Could you please confirm the versions of both Illustrator and Animate you're using, along with your operating system? Also, does this issue occur with all files or just a specific one? Has it started recently after an update, or has it been happening for a while?

As a quick check, try expanding the appearance of the mirrored shapes in Illustrator before copying them (Object > Expand Appearance) or flattening transparency, then paste them into Animate to see if the gradient direction stays consistent.

Please give this a try and let me know if it helps. If the problem continues, sharing a small sample file and a short screen recording of your exact copy-paste workflow would really help.

Looking forward to your update.

This issue occurs consistently across all files and has persisted. Software versions: Illustrator 25.0 (the problem also existed with the previous version 23.x), Animate 24.0 Operating system: Windows

They are the simplest gradient fills with no additional appearances.
